Who we are

A community devoted to heritage

The „MEMORIA CETĂȚII” ALBA IULIA Association is a non-governmental, non-profit, public-benefit organisation based in the Vauban Citadel of Alba Carolina. We bring together researchers, volunteers and institutions to protect and make known the cultural, historical and architectural heritage of the city.

Heritage Digitisation

We scan, photograph and publish online documents, objects and buildings from the heritage of Alba Iulia. What is digitised today stays accessible to anyone, anywhere — and survives decay, fire or plain forgetting.
